    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Bocknack is a wonderful intrsuctor. Bocknack utilizes his knowledge in chemistry very well, which allows students to both understand it quickly and utilize it in their every day to day activities.

    Course highlights:

Proper conversions, wavelengths, principles of matter...etc.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Listen carefully during class; Bocknack always relates stuff back to what he has previously taught. It may not make sense at the moment, but if you correlate each class with each other, it will all make sense. Do not skip class, you will regret it. Take notes and be confident.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Sackett is a wonderful educator and always willing to help. She is a fair grader.

    Course highlights:

This course really teaches you how to stay on top of your game. She also teaches you to think like a chemist. This course is very heavy on synthesis and so is great for chemistry, or STEM majors.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not fall behind on homework. Work the problems immediately after they are assigned. Also, practice makes perfect. You must work through each problem set at least 3 times to be competent with the material.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I don't really care for Chemistry, but I needed to take a science class to fulfill my degree requirements. In hind site, I would have preferred biology as chemistry was very math oriented.

    Course highlights:

learned all about the elements and how they bond and interact with each other to form compounds, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take this class unless you are strong in mathematics.
