Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a very straightforward calculus class. Professor teaches clearly and cracked quite a few jokes.

    Course highlights:

This class mainly focused on derivatives and went more in depth than my previous calculus class. It really cleared up for me what derivatives were and where they came from mathematically.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework enough to understand the concepts and the techniques.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Bui was extremely clear, her notes made sense, and she provided concise and timely feedback!

    Course highlights:

I loved this course! It was tough, but I learned a lot obviously about calculus, but also how to apply it to my life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to do lots of homework! Professor Bui gives it almost every class period, but she's clear as to what she expects and grades fairly.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great book and teacher. Plenty of opportunities for extra credit and she's not very picky about homework. As long as you go to all the classes and understand all of the material, it's not too hard to get an A.

    Course highlights:

One highlight was that our professor made sure we knew how to use our calculators for all of the tedious work. Sometimes she'd make us do things by hand but she was pretty nice about not making us do everything by hand. She would allow for shortcuts sometimes as long as we explained how we used the.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book chapters in the book before you go to class. This professor likes to go through material quickly and it's easy to get lost if you don't have some minimal comprehension of the material before you go to class. Also, youtube is your friend if you're having trouble understanding something.
