    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great way to get started in the nursing field. Ms. Wendy is the director and program coordinator and is very resourceful. The course is only about five weeks long, so it goes by quickly. My classmates ranged in ages from 18-45, from many different backgrounds, which was useful. They also give grants especially for the summer courses.

    Course highlights:

Having a diverse range of students was very helpful. Many of them had already been in the nursing field and provided great advice. Everyone's journey had been different up to that class, as well as where they were going. Therefore, it was a great way to realize that there is more than one way to get to your destination in life. I learned that being a CNA can be challenging as well as very rewarding.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

It's a great experience, especially to get started in the nursing or other healthcare fields. I didn't have much homework, but never skipped class. If you go to class you will retain more along with along with networking and getting advice. Get a study buddy, so when the time comes for the exam you will have a good partner.
