Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because not only does it help you learn different methods of communication, but it also helps you overcome the obstacle of public speaking and speaking to other people. It is essential to know how to speak to someone whether that be a family member, friend, or co-worker because today's technology allows us to do so and have to communicate easier and more efficiently.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be the public speaking. Sharing your thoughts on different subjects and getting out of your comfort zone to voice yourself. I learned that it is okay to have different opinions and there's nothing wrong about learning how to express yourself.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give students would be to study your notes and don't be afraid to voice your opinion and get out of your comfort zone. Public speaking can be difficult for some but you can overcome it with practice and self confidence. This class really gets you to express yourself and open up.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed professor Humphrey's course because he was personable with the students and cared about their excuses for being late or not understanding something. He was sympathetic to the fact that my sister was having her baby and that i was not able to make it to the mid term on a specific date and allowed me to take it a few days ahead of time. He is sensible yet stern in his profession which i admire.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about how to communicate with several different types of people including your peers, your family, and your elders without coming across offensive while trying to confront an issue.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest you do the weekly tests on time or early rather than procrastinate like most students do considering the deadline for all the tests is the end of the semester. It really helps understand what the course is teaching you if you are actually up to date on the weekly modules.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course with this professor is because he is great. I entered the class very shy and left the class with a little more confidence due to our curriculum.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was the final grade of the interview and speech from the interview we were required to do. What I learned from the lesson was how to trust myself and just let it follow when giving a speech to the crowd.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pretty cool speech course. Just follow along with the reading
