Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was wonderful! I hate math, and by the end of the course, I was actually enjoying myself! I actually learned how to enjoy math and how to grasp the concepts.

    Course highlights:

We learned practical, hand's on math knowledge! We weren't just learning how to do scenarios that we would never learn; we actually learned skills that would help us in life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't worry! Just take a lot of notes and don't be afraid to ask for help!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If math has never been your best subject I definitely recommend this class. I tried college algebra and it was not for me. This math is going over things that you've learned in middle and high school. The only thing that is new is using spreadsheets.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to use spreadsheets. They seem pretty difficult at first but only because it was new to me. The spreadsheets pretty much do the math for you, you just have to plug in the equation. I learned to put together someone's expenses together throughout some years. I'm able figure out how much a person could spend monthly until their retirement money is gone. I know it sounds like simple math but learning how to put all of the information in a spreadsheet was pretty tough battle but ANYONE can get this material down! Have faith in yourself!!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If your teacher gives out homework you should do it. If you don't understand then ask immediately. I stayed after class for thirty minutes to get extra help after almost every class and it really helped. My teacher is really helpful.
