Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Everyone has to take a college algebra course. I took 2 remedial courses before college algebra and had no problems understanding the material

    Course highlights:

Algebra can be very confusing but if you starts with a solid base knowledge and stay focused on following the steps and order of operations you should have no problems. Don't hesitate to ask your professor for help or more explanation

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with your work! Don't let yourself fall behind or procrastinate

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because Steve is a great professor who tries to help students out as long as they put in the effort. He also keeps the lesson from getting boring by sharing stories throughout the class. one thing I do recommend is to read the lesson before going to class, so that way you are familiar with the material when he is presenting it.

    Course highlights:

This was my first semester in college and one thing that I learned from taking this class is that you cannot expect good grades if you do not keep up with the lessons. He tends to move quite fast through the problems and if you do not pay attention is very easy to get lost and like he says, "math is cumulative" so if you miss a lesson, you will more than likely be lost the next lesson.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to any student taking this course and any math course is to work practice problems out during free time and spend a little extra time watching videos such as Khan Academy. It is helpful when you hear the material or when the material is explained to you in various ways.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He explains the concepts well. He also makes the class fun, sometimes he tells jokes.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to do more in depth stuff with imaginary numbers, I learned how that sometimes you have to make a mistake or two before you can get things right.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the learning lab, or form study groups.
