Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Prof. Blum was an amazing professor. She's incredibly patient and always answers student's questions throughout her lecture. She begins every class with homework questions, and she always provides a test review with worked examples. Throughout class, she is always careful to include examples of the future homework questions, making the homework a true learning experience rather than a stressful ordeal.

    Course highlights:

This class absolutely prepared me for Calculus I. Calculus is definitely challenging, but my thorough knowledge of graphs and functions has enabled me a fair amount of success.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn and memorize the necessary graphs, always complete your homework, take detailed notes, and rewrite those notes before attempting your homework. These four things are what enabled me to complete the class with a 96 average.

This course is to help you brush up on trig and some other math to prepare you for calculus. If you're struggle with math definitely take this it will help give you more of a foundation for calculus but if you're already understand trig and everything you don't really need this class.

    Course highlights:

refresh old concept and understand trig a little bit more than before.

    Advice for students:

do the homework and do as much practice problem as you can, if the professor use myMathLab take advantage of it. They have plenty of practice problems to do and it also work through the concept with you.
