Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Not only is it a very fun and interesting course, it's also really helpful in the real world and you can always apply what you have learned in that class to your daily life. You don't always find you can do this with every course you take but with this one you definitely can!
You learn everything from genetics to DNA to viruses to carbs. There's a big variety of things you learn but the big one is DNA, this was the most difficult section of the course but it's the one you'll always remember because no matter what it will apply to you and everyone around you. The labs were also so fun and inclusive and I was always really excited to go to lab (I have never been excited to go to lab before until this class).

Advice for students:
This course jumps right into everything. There's a ton of material to learn in a semesters worth of time. Don't underestimate the amount of material you have to learn or else you won't do very well. The way to really succeed in this course is to make sure you read the textbook and the professors powerpoints, make sure you complete the homeworks and labs, and make sure you have a full understanding of what you have learned and if you don't the teacher will be happy to help you understand, and the biggest way to succeed is to make sure you always attend class, every class you can. The professor teaches you everything you need to know in each and every class so when you go to them you learn and will be able to take notes and draw all the diagrams she has drawn, which is something you know will be on the test. This is a very fun and not too difficult class if you make sure you're investing time to study for it.
