    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This course is essential to get into the nursing program at ACC.

    Course highlights:

    This course help me discover that my parents were being over prescribes with unnecessary prescriptions.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Read the textbook and reteach yourself from your lecture notes.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    She is such an understanding and interesting professor. She really wants you to succeed and gives you every opportunity to do so.

    Course highlights:

    This course allows for students to get the basic knowledge of dosage calculations and medication description, MOA and Categories. The Side effects of all medications and classes of medications are covered and drug interactions are noted. This course allows for the student to gain an overall base knowledge of the material needed to move forward.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Begin looking at the dosage portion of the course ASAP when you enroll. In fact, if you can purchase the book beforehand and start looking at the dosage portion and get a head start on the math part of the class, you can get that out of the way, and place all your needed focus on the medications section from then on out.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this course if you are pursuing a healthcare career. Pharmacology is a difficult subject and requires a lot of dedication and review.

    Course highlights:

    I learned the about the regulations of prescribed drug medication and the scheduled drugs that are categorized.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Review terms, make flashcards, and know your conversions really well! Study the metric conversions.
