    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

United States History is difficult whether you take AP or regular. It takes a lot of concentration and time in order to do well, but it is manageable. Good luck :)

    Course highlights:

You learn the whole history of the country that you live in. It may be boring but looking back it is very interesting to learn everything that has made our country the way that it is.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend hand writing notes rather than taking them on your laptop because you will most likely end up online shopping or playing games and doing not so well in the class if you use your laptop.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course if you are interested in learning very in-depth about our nation's history. Be prepared to read and write!

    Course highlights:

The best part of this class was listening to Mrs. Visgak's vast knowledge of the subject.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook! It is the only way to truly understand the information.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is an AP class that focuses on understanding of American history from approximately 1491 to the present.

    Course highlights:

The course has begun to teach me to investigate the content of U.S. history for significant events, individuals, developments, and processes in nine historical periods, and develop and use the same thinking skills and methods (analyzing primary and secondary sources, making historical comparisons, chronological reasoning, and argumentation) employed by historians when they study the past.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a challenging course that is taught at the college level. You must study hard and be very organized in order to be successful.
