Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course to take and Mr. Waggoner teaches it very well. He also gives us a lot of different opportunities to get some hands on experience with different material as well as through lesson on how we can do some of these experiences and everyday life.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the class for me were the labs that we did. Doing these labs I have learned that I have a very hands on learning style and I learn better when I can actually do and see what I am working on. He also gave us a lot of lab safety tips that I can use later in life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always show up and pay attention in class every day. If you miss a day then your most likely going to miss something important but if you do miss a day go talking to him about it and he will be happy to give you the work you missed. And finally always study what you learned everyday because it makes remembering it much easier.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course even though it is not required because you can learn more about your own body. You can learn things you won't forget and the stuff we learn is actually interesting stuff about the body.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were everything to me. But mostly when he would show us videos because they made the learning better for me. Also all of Mr. Trimner's analogies and demonstrations were a highlight for me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed you need to take matters into your own hands, and have a good initiative. Speak up when you need help or do not understand something because he always makes sure we are prepared and understand the material.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend taking this course based on a lot factors. The way the class is taught, the teacher/instructor, the material learned, etc.. We learn about a lot of things in the class, it is a lot to remember, but it is all cool stuff to learn about. There is never really a time where I am disengaged in the class and I also think Mr. Trimner plays a huge part in that. You can tell he is really passionate about teaching and only wants the best for his students! In his classroom, the vibe I get just makes me want to succeed and take my education more seriously.

    Course highlights:

Highlights from this course include learning the bones of the body and the movements they make. Learning how things were named in the body and using practical applications. My favorite highlight from this course would probably be Mr. Trimner's analogies and how he described things to us. He would make difficult things so relatable and and he was so energetic every single day. I learned more than just how the human body is organized and how it functions. For example, I learned how to study things in groups of 3-5 because the brain remembers things better in group- like phone numners. I also learned that working with others and speaking things aloud help make learning difficult things more relaxed and beneficial.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To students considering taking this course, I would tell them that it is worth it because even if you do not want to pursue a career in the medical field you will still learn about just our everyday lives and how our bodies work as humans. Prepare to write a lot of notes as well as get along with others easily because there is a lot of group work. Like any other science class, to get a good grade, you need to study outside of the classroom. Buy markers or colored pencils because drawing lots of pictures is also a key part of success in this course.
