    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this class because it is a good break from the stress of core classes, yet you can still learn a lot of useful writing skills.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the small class community, and how laid back it was. I learned how to be vivid in my imagery and how to write poetry.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your writing assignments on time, it will make your life easier towards the end of the class since you won't have a lot of late work, even though Mrs. Verm is very laid back with due dates.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher's enthusiasm and witty humor creates a wonderful atmosphere for learning, and makes even the most seemingly boring subject matter interesting. He is very understanding and is flexible when it comes to due dates.

    Course highlights:

Not only were the books we read insightful and interesting, but I also learned how to improve my essay. We do not only read books, but also focus on grammar and how to improve flow in our paragraphs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Have an open mind when it comes to reading the novels. The subject matter in the books are often complicated or controversial, but reading with an open mind allows you to truly understand what the author is trying to convey.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course mostly because of the teacher. Mr. Krantz pushes his students to be the best they can be. While he is a tough grader I feel this is valuable because it helps me improve skills and knowledge on whatever we are learning.

    Course highlights:

In this course we mostly learned about the poverty in the world, and we compared it to the poverty we see in the United States. It was a really interesting comparison.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to stay up on your work because he dose not care if you do not accomplish one piece of work and he will keep assigning work. On the contrary, he is very understanding when life gets busy and rough.
