If you plan to take higher level math, Ms. Himes is very knowledgeable and shows proficiency in her field. My only complaint is that she writes very quickly and can sometimes leave students behind.
In this course you will build upon higher level algebra that was taught in Precalculus Algebra. The bulk of what you will learn includes solving trigonometric equations, how to graph these equations, and learning about the six main trigonometric functions. This class is a direct precursor to calculus I.

If it's been a while since you've taken a math course I would recommend that you take some time to refresh your memory before you begin this course. It wasn't the hardest class I've ever taken, but it definitely required some effort on my part.
