Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it helped me decide what I wished to study in college. Learning about the study of life is very fascinating for the content in the subject are endless. We were taught how DNA works with the Punnet Square and what lies in a human cell.

    Course highlights:

There were many highlights of this course. I learned that some animals or plants can produce asexually. That is where the object itself can produce its own egg cells without sperm cells entering the body. Another important aspect is learning how DNA works and how certain traits can become hereditary. We gain information on how some traits can skip generations and how that is possible. This is all taught through the Punnet Square and eventually learned through other techniques. In lab, the students examined different live bacteria in cells which is extremely interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed this course, it always help if the student has a love for science. If so, prepare to be learning things about the way of life and how plants and animals are formed. If the student is not so sciency, try your hardest to understand that this is how life works and it is always good to know how some of the world works.

    Advice for students:

Make sure to take notes on everything that is talked about in class. It is also very beneficial to outline each section of the chapter from the textbook.
