Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking this course because Vickie takes the time to TEACH you how to write and builds that relationship with her students. She doesn't make you feel unwelcome either. Make sure you read, contribute, and do your homework. I promise you, you will walk out knowing more than what you did when you walked in.

    Course highlights:

The highlight's of this course was that I got to learn how to write. She made us write our feelings every day and I found that so difficult at times, but it helped me to grow as a writer. I also learned about the LA Riot's, which is such a "hush hush" topic.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your work, READ the books and the assignments, and contribute/engage in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Martinez is very encouraging but is also tough yet fair. He never wants us to do less then our very best in class and he always wants us participating in the class discussions.

    Course highlights:

Through out this course I've learned to understand when reading others reports how to read over there reports. While also taking criticism for my own. With help form not only my fellow classmates but my professor as well writing reports has become easier and better. Reading the material is always important some people may think not doing it is alright but if you don't take the reading seriously then you won't understand what everyone else is saying.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the reading. Try to have civility for when others are giving their opinions and make sure you submit your work complete and on time.
