Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because the professor was very helpful and she taught the class in a way that you didn't want to blink. For all those bio lovers this is the class for you.

    Course highlights:

The course was focused on the cell and every part of it, how it function, the division of the cells and mutation that can lead to different pheno types and which leads to change in the DNA. I also learned about duplication of DNA and RNA.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advise I would give to a student that would want to take this course is that also come prepare to class, which means that you need to read not just passive reading but active reading. Active reading makes you think about what you are reading and generates questions.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I will recommend this course because it begins by giving the student a brief insight of what biology will be like and how our ecosystem and environment works. It presents all the important aspects of biology needed to understand how the world around us works by incorporating environmental science and chemistry.

    Course highlights:

The best highlights were attending lab. It was a great atmosphere to closely interact with my fellow classmates and professor. I learned about the importance of Biology and how species interact with each other which had their own niches. The best topic was learning about microorganisms such as bacteria, archaea, fungi, protozoa, algae, and viruses.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take very well written notes and study every day in order to retain the course material. It is important to attend class every time to gain lab and classroom experience.
