Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course teaches you the fundamental basics you should know if you want a career in business. Must Show up to all classes and tests do have essay questions that are really easy if you are in class during case study days.

    Course highlights:

Although this was only 1 course out of 2, I learned so much about the legal side of working and/or running your own business. This professor teaches out of the book; however, during class he goes over all the material that is going to be on tests. In fact, i hardly ever had to open up the book because he was so thorough during his discussions. All information you receive during this course pertains to the real world, therefore you will be using the knowledge received when you are running your own business.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course you must go to all class sessions. Everything on the tests he discusses in class and he tells you exactly what is on the test during class as he goes over it. He does had out outlines and case studies that definitely helps during studying. Do study all case studies as essay questions are based off the case studies we go over in class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

He is very upfront and straight forward with explaining what he expects from you.

    Course highlights:

When doing IRAC's for his class be sure to reference the material at the back of the book. Hint: He basically tells you what to write for the first 3 exam IRACs. You just have to be wise enough to look.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Print out all of the questions from the Cengage assignments. They are the exact questions used for the tests including the midterm and the final.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course. There are two business law teachers at Citrus College. Professor Grossman is clearly the more passionate professor out of the two teachers. If the teacher enjoys talking about the subject, then the class will be more enjoyable. No student will fall asleep in his class. Professor Grossman tells some of the most interesting stories involving the law. Some of them are depressing and some are quite funny. Even the most dull cases will be a joy to listen to in his class. The law is much easier to learn about when students have entertaining stories to learn from.

    Course highlights:

the most important facts I learned in this class can help me in everyday situations. I now know the proper procedures I must take in order to sue someone. I know what I can sue a person for and what I cannot sue them for. If a lawsuit were to be filed, I would know which courts have jurisdiction and what the lawyers of both parties can and cannot request.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The stories and examples the professor give are key to passing the tests. Do not rely too much on the textbook and do not over study the terms. The study guide is your friend.
