    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    There is homework due every week. There are about 10 - 20 chapter questions that you will have to be submitting in your own words re: genetics. Hence, there will be quite a bit of reading required in this course. There will be a quiz once a week as well that you will be able to take 3 times. The highest score will be submitted towards your grade.

    Course highlights:

    You will be learning how to use the punnet square. You will learn polygentic traits, mendelian traits and how genetics affect individuals.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sue you work on the chapter questions early. Do not procrastinate because they tend to take a while doing it.

    Course Overview:

    There is quite a bit of homework involved and reading. There are quizzes once a week, but no huge exam. You are able to take the quiz 3 times, and the best score will go towards your grade.

    Course highlights:

    There is quite a bit of information in this course. You will be learning inheritance, polygenic traits, mendelian traits, punnet squares, multifactorial traits. You will be required to turn in chapter question every week (about 10 - 20 questions) in your own words. She will require you to submit them on turn it in, so she will be checking for plagiarism. You will also be required to go to the learning center in the beginning of the semester to submit an on-campus essay about yourself. She wants to see what your writing style is like to make sure that it if in fact you turning in your assignments online.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you are on top of your assignments. Don't procrastinate with the chapter questions because it does take a while sometimes.

    Course Overview:

    It was a good class. What I liked was that the teacher would give you extra credit to your test if you went in during office hours & worked with him to figure out the problem(s) you got wrong.

    Course highlights:

    There was a study group led by a t.a. who actually came to the class and learned with you.

    Advice for students:

    There is no such thing as an easy A. You need to devote your time to this class.
