I learned that microorganisms are everywhere and this course will make anyone more cognizant of washing your hands but also to avoid places that can cause pathogenic diseases.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell any student when taking a course of this caliber to be organized and do not procrastinate because there is so much content to absorb.

    Course Overview:

Professor Pentek is pretty straight forward in what he expects you to learn, but there is a lot of information to retain so be prepared for a good bit of study time.

    Course highlights:

The labs were pretty interesting as well as learning about immunology. It's crazy to find out how our bodies can fight against foreign microbes.
