    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

His glass is definitely not the easiest but overall its a great class. I learned so many things . One thing that you should never be is late to his class or presentation days. Read the book always! Don't try to BS the talks about the chapters.

    Course highlights:

The group Project! After that group project I only expect to hate other group projects as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you enjoy communications, you will like this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I did the online version of the class and found it to be a reasonable challenge without being to difficult. Prof. Hewes did a fantastic job of helping me feel comfortable when we got together in groups to do our speeches. I was sad to hear that was her last semester at CSI.

    Course highlights:

I was able to use my own interests combined with my research for my two speeches to glean some ideas and plans for my own business venture. I then used my preparations for my persuasive speech to dig deeper into and organize my ideas for that business into a budding business plan and mission statement.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Most programs require a communications class which means you are probably going to have to spend the money on it. Get your money's worth out of it. Turn our speeches into an opportunity to delve deeper into your own future.
