    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anybody wanting to know more about the natural world that they live in. This class covers the basics of biology and is essential if continuing on in a biological field. If not continuing on to a biological field, this class is still great especially for learning processes that can be used every day and applied to other classes (such as new learning methods and study habits). The professor (Doetsch) is also one of the best professors on campus because he really cares about this field of study and shows infectious passion in his lecture.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course included the expansion of processes in biology that have already been covered in basic education. Besides the material, this class really teaches students good study habits and promotes asking "why" instead of just memorizing the "how."

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class, learn to ask "why" instead of just memorizing the "how." Show up for every class, take notes, and always ask for help if you are unsure. Professors would rather have you in their office every day rather than not see you at all.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class. Professor Campanella is very engaging, and he prepares wonderful lectures. I could really relate to him, and he took the time to make sure I was doing okay in the class.

    Course highlights:

I really learned a lot about classifying organisms, and macromolecules.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend rewriting your notes, and spending a lot of time taking your own personal notes out of the book.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because it is a framework for all other biology courses and Alex makes Biology very exciting. This course also opens your eyes o the tiny things that happen in your body that we can't really see happening.

    Course highlights:

From taking this course I have been able to understand My current A&P class and it has also taught me how to learn to do basic procedures in a lab setting

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To Study and do the Study guides, to go to the Study session offered by the college and to draw.
