    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class is incredibly interesting even if you are not a psychology major you will find this class absolutely fascinating. At the end of every class you begin to apply what you have learned in analyzing your surroundings and particularly the people around you. Its a great joy when you can share what you have learned to other people such as your family because this is developmental psychology like my professor Linda Emerson said "From the womb to the tomb."

    Course highlights:

It would have to be when we learned about different parenting styles and analyzing the effects on children and how they end up as adults based on these different styles of parenting. Especially the assignment in which she asks you to explain what parenting style was used on you, what is your parenting style and what parenting style you actually want to use. It really makes you look at your self and take a moment to look back to your childhood and also your future. I would definitely take this class again.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend class, you will receive much benefit and greater, relatable information from your professor than the book by itself. Particularly if your professor is willing to use her own life experiences as exampled in what we are currently learning.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very informative and relatable to anyone. Highly recommended if you plan on having children someday.

    Course highlights:

You learn much about yourself and others. You discover why you think the way you think and do the things you do.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book. Listen in class the Prof. has good life advice if anything.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Professor Emerson. She is knowlesheable, but you will commend her for her transparenccy. You will leave the class remembering that you are complex, human and worthy.

    Course highlights:

Your final will be an autobiography, and if you have paid attention to the lectures, and read the book, you will find it easy to do. The course will give you an oppurtunity to analyze your childhood, but empowers you.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open-minded. Apply the concepts in the textbook to your own experiences, and you will have a better understanding of the lectures and the goal of the class.
