Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Hutcheson gives great feedback, so I would definitely recommend the course if you are looking to get the requirement out of the way and actually learn more about writing.

    Course highlights:

I learned that my writing still needs a long way to go, but that is fine!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to office hours and use in class time to your advantage.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

A lot to learn about writing essays and what to do and what not to do when writing.

    Course highlights:

Learning how to write a good concession in the middle of your paper.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate! Always start your papers when she assigns them so you can finish them early and coast through the rest of the course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Carter knows what she's talking about but she gets off topic a lot and tries to relate that back to the material.

    Course highlights:

I actually did not do well in this class, I can't say I learned anything new I relied on the information past teachers had given me. I don't think my writing got any better in this class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take her class I recommend you read straight out of the book, read before lecture, and study hard for quizzes in order to become successful. When it comes to your essays read and revise every portion of your essay individually and write it according to her standards.
