Not too easy. Not too difficult.
The teacher is the best I have ever had. She uses demonstrations and writes the notes you should take on the board. This provides a step by step account of what you have learned in class. She is kind yet strict. She doesn't allow slacking, so you learn as much as you can in the class. I am currently in AT Biology and know that I am succeeding because of the Biology I have to go off of from her class.
The highlights definitely include the fetal pig dissection, where I was able to see a pig brain and learn about the functions of the body. We learned, in depth, about cell function and structure and broader knowledge on evolution and animal function. I took her extra SAT 2 class during g-block, which gave me further insight into biology overall. Other highlights include her demonstration on meiosis and mitosis, where she gave all of us colored headbands to represent chromosomes and had us act it out.

Advice for students:
Review her notes as you take the class, do not study the night before an exam. Take detailed notes, but not just on what she writes down. Write down what she says and forgets to write down, all of the examples; it will help you remember. Never miss a class, as she explains things very well and uses demonstrations. You could ask a classmate, but it would take you longer to understand. Ask her for help, as she is available. Also, use crash course biology and khan academy videos if you don't understand something: they are very helpful. Review, in depth, Ms. Reed's videos that she shares on haiku.
