    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Grades pretty tough on essays but provides great critical feedback on essays. Professor does not respond to emails, and is not consistent is the syllabus with due dates and requirements. This professor changes its expectations on essays as you go.

    Course highlights:

I learned to write better and clearer essay based on his feedbacks that he provides. Also citing sources is a must this professor will assure you that you are utilizing correct citing format.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not fall behind on your work, stay on top of the required subjects and attend the tutoring for reviews as much possible.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Hoelle is very passionate in teaching her students. If you enjoy classroom discussion and text analization, this is a very good class.

    Course highlights:

I feel that the highlight of this course was the discussion and reading the novel that Professor Hoelle had selected for us. I learned a lot about logical fallacies and analyzing text.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are not willing to do the reading for the course then I would advise agains taking it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a bit of work, but Professor Lopez really helps you understand the fundamentals of writing. The class is also not an "average you need to do this" class, it's an interactive class. Very fun!

    Course highlights:

I loved reading the book Southland.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the writing center! Get help from the professor if you are struggling. Be in class on time and everyday. Turn in your work on time.
