This class was tough.
This is a difficult introductory accounting course and is used as a weed-out class. There are 2 grading options; one includes a lot of small homework assignments on top of the exams, and the other is strictly based off of your exam scores. If you fail one exam you must drop the class or you fail automatically.
You learn the most fundamental accounting principles in this course. You learn about assets, liabilities, equity, the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and many other budgets.

Advice for students:
I would recommend that you do all of the homework assignments for practice even if you do not choose that grading scheme. Take all of the practice exams and complete the practice problems. The exams are usually pretty different than from the materials they give you to prepare.
