Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The school has excellent facilities and teaching staff, that make the experience very fun and exciting. While the work is difficult, there are plenty of resources available to those that need help in the areas that have trouble with.

    Course highlights:

Aside from academics, the overall societal part of the university is just as great as the academic standing. The only major complaint that i would have would be concerning the dorms, which are not worth what students are being charged for them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Being such a large school, many businesses already flock to UIUC because they know that there is not only a large quantity of students, but also that the quality of those students is much higher than that of the average university.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Quaint Small Town – Pretty Campus, great accessibility to transportation, large greek system, lots of restaurants. This town has plenty of hotels, shopping, etc., as that of any large city.Car on Campus – It isn't a wise decision to bring a car your freshman year because parking is very limited and expensive, the bus service is good and takes you to many places.

    Course highlights:

Quite a Variety – There are many things to do on campus at night, even for those under 21, because they are still able to get into the bars at 18 in Urbana and 19 in Champaign, even if they can't legally drink.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There are also a number of options for students who want to avoid the bars, like apartment parties, student organization activities, and events at the Union, such as comedy shows. There are a variety of bars and clubs within walking distance.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have a bias view of the housing system as I got the worst dorm in the entire campus (taft hall). However, the social atmosphere makes up for the crappy environment. The best greek life system in the country hands down. We have the largest amount of organizations and have diverse and variety of people in them.

    Course highlights:

Sports is a big part of the campus but the teams are not that great. People usually go to the games for social interactions. The frats and sororities help great causes+ are fun. There are two gigantic public gyms and private ones.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Many people are dedicated in their education. People are usually from top of their class and all compete with each other. Very competitive school in terms of education. Many social interactions with people. If you want to get involved, you can but if you don't want to, that's fine too.
