    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a very difficult introductory chemistry course, it will teach you the skills that are going to be needed throughout the rest of your studies as a chemical engineering, biochem, or spec chem student. The teacher is helpful and creative in his teaching methods.

    Course highlights:

Intro chemistry is split in two semesters at University of Illinois, 202 and 204. Chem 202 is basically the first half of AP chemistry working with stochiometric calculations that will be foundation to the rest of your understanding of chemistry, along with other elementary principles of chemistry. Do not take this lightly this course is anything but easy, it will truly test your understanding of the subject matter applying concepts to unknown problems so that you can apply yourself.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This course requires studying of the material probably at least 4 times a week outside of class, practice problems are your friends. Office hours will definitely help when you are confused. Always go to class and always do your homework.
