    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I learned a lot by taking this class. It's a very difficult class and you definitely need to put in a lot of hard work and effort to do well, however, I finished the semester with a much greater understanding and knowledge of the Spanish language.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about different grammatical aspects of the Spanish language. There were many topics that came up during this class that I had never learned in my 11 years prior of having taken Spanish courses. I also learned a lot about the Spanish language and culture in general through the professor's thorough and insightful lectures!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to study a lot, take thorough notes, and put in extra effort to do well in this course. It's not easy, so getting help from your TA and professor when unsure about any topic or even just to double check your work is helpful. There are multiple written assignments you need to turn in and something that always helped me was meeting with my TA and reading through my writing with him in order to catch any grammatical mistakes I might have made.
