    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because of its ability to bring out a student's creative side. As a science major, I did not take any artistic courses as part of my core curriculum so it was a nice change from the classes that were normally on my schedule. This course brought out my ability to interpret things differently and gain new insight and perspectives from my classmates. Overall, it was very rewarding and taught me how to think outside of the box, even in my science courses!

    Course highlights:

Because I took this class online, the focus of the course was dance film. Therefore, I had to make different videos every week featuring various camera techniques, movements, and themes. My favorite week was when I featured an amusement park in my video. It was interesting to see how the movements of a rollercoaster could be considered as "dance".

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely keep up with the work - you don't want to fall behind in this class as there are new assignments due every week! We also had to post in a discussion forum and respond to other classmates, so it is important to write due dates down or set reminders for yourself to complete these things. Lastly, don't be afraid to try this course because you don't consider yourself to be artistic enough! You would be amazed at what you can come up with while taking this course.
