    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a required course for both electrical and computer engineering, the first heavily code based one in the curriculum.

    Course highlights:

The coolest thing about the course is one of the MPs. They lay out the basics but you have to make the game 2048. It's pretty cool.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The MPs are interesting, but time-consuming. Definitely don't wait until the night before to do the bulk of it. The professors are alright, but the majority of the learning is on your own. You can do well if you put in the time to understand all of the concepts taught, sitting in lecture learning the theory will only go so far. The exams are tricky, but if you take the practice exams and actually understand how to solve the different concepts being tested, they're doable.
