Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a well taught class and I found the coursework to be fun and exciting. The labs are interesting and although the homework is hard, they have ta hours every weekday to help students.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course would have to be the labs because I found those to be both exciting and challenging. I learned how to program for the first time and I also learned how a lc3 microprocessor works.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you save time for the homework and labs you will be fine. Doing the homework goes a long way in understanding the material for the exams so don't shortcut it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it for any one who wants to take a comprehensive course on the fundamentals of computer engineering that's presented in a systematic way.

    Course highlights:

I can confidently say that I gained a thorough knowledge of how a basic computer model works. I can effectively describe in a bottom-up approach how a computer system works and the simple components and processes that add up to the complexity we commonly perceive the computer to have.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes. Practice (i.e. homework). Think about what you are doing and why you are doing it. Practice some more.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As a required course and an intro course to computing and ECE major, Professor Lumetta sure made the whole learning process very productive and fun.

    Course highlights:

ECE 120 basically tells you the intro to C language programming, there's a lot of logics involved rather than straight up coding

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

start the homework as early as possible and go to office hour very often to make sure you can turn in homework in time
