    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend just to gain general knowledge of cells, bacteria, taxonomy, diseases, etc.

    Course highlights:

The teacher is great with his knowledge and really helps if you ask.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention, study, study, study, study, go to review sessions, study, study, take notes, study, study, did I mention study?

    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend it because the lecture slides were just paragraphs of information, and you are required to know a lot of details for each test. Microbiology majors would probably do fine, but for a Food Science and Human Nutrition major, none of the material resonated with me (which made it hard to study).

    Course highlights:

We learned about viruses, bacteria, parasites, as well as tons of names/examples for each of these categories. I learned about some flesh eating viruses, which was interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just study all the slides very well, and know all the fine details.
