Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course gives you the stable basic foundation of what public health is in a very interesting relatable way, that incorporates real world situations. It also gives you an inside look of many things that are in our community that you may not be aware of such as health regulations that are everywhere and not just at restaurants like many people think. There are is ongoing research of how we as a community can grow and become healthier.

    Course highlights:

Some things that really stayed with me after this course is how important public health is in our community and if we did not have public health here in Champaign-Urbana there would be many problems not only health related, but also in emergency situations as well. Another, thing that really stuck out is the fact that the Public Health provides resources for people who can not necessarily afford certain things such as groceries and even free resources for parents with children as well (dental/ health care services)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

One main thing is to really participate in activities and discussions because thats what most of the quizzes and exams consist of, so making sure to really stay active in the course and engage is very important.
