Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great class. Very relatable to the real world. Professor Shinew was great, very personable!

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this course was the realization of how important leisure and happiness is to everyone's life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class, pay attention, read the assigned chapters, and enjoy!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. It is a very easy gen ed course or if it is a part of your major course it is still extremely easy. Minimal effort needed.

    Course highlights:

This class is a lecture and discussion combined which means it is a little longer than usual lectures, but you only meet twice a week and just listen and take notes in class. You learn about leisure and connection to sports and tourism. Overall the class is so easy, just show up for iclicker points and take notes and the tests are over the notes and some book questions, but overall great class. There is no homework (except for reading some articles before class), no presentations, no quizzes, no writing assignments, no out of class work, just 2 exams and the final.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The test is the notes, show up to class and get the notes and review the notes at least one day before the exam (if you went to class and listened).

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course provides an interesting look at how leisure influences daily life and how it can affect the happiness of someone. It also provides interesting facts about all type of leisure, even things you never knew fit under that category.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the cost of leisure and that during my lifetime, I have to sacrifice time for work and leisure in order to find a balance and still have fun in what I want to do.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always take notes and read the chapters assigned because a lot of information comes from the book and not the lecture, or vice versa.
