    Course Overview:

    This course is I am currently enrolled in and is a great foundation to learn about the history of social work, as well as the policies that have a huge impact on the way our society is assisted.

    Course highlights:

    I learned that in order to be an effective social worker you have to understand how welfare was developed and what policies are hindering more assistance to those in need.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take your time to read as well as to get an understanding of all policies. This information will truly be used throughout your career.
