    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is mandatory for many students and teaches a lot of information at a fast pace.

    Course highlights:

Students in this course learned more about chemistry including intramolecular forces, combustion energy, and photoelectric energy. The subjects taught in this course were not the easiest to understand but after practice were better understandable.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY HOURS are very important when they are offered during this course. This course is not easy and takes a lot of effort to understand by studying frequently and talking to your professor. At the beginning of the course you should build a relationship with the other students, TA, or the professor so that you are able to work together on problems you have difficulty in solving or understanding.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Marville is a wonderful professor who is very passionate about chemistry. She is so passionate that she is very serious when she teaches.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about chemistry, and she has many ways of effectively teaching it. I finally was able to understand the basics of how chemistry all connects.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go and get help, she may be intimidating but that was something I did not do as much as I should have. She will learn your name and challenge you, but it will help you in the long run. Visit her office hours.
