    | Would highly recommend.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this course because I have found this class to be very insightful into the history of African Americans. It was also extremely hands on.

    Course highlights:

    One of the highlights I have obtained in this course is the ability to logically think and to realize how well the youth of this generation have life compared to the lives of slaves.

    6-8 hours

    Do not procrastinate! take your time and think logically while answering the problems

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Mrs. Johnson is a great teacher. She helped me understand how the country's government system was formed. Also she made me realize the importance of knowing each state and it's geographic location. In addition we learned the first 22 presidents and how and why we have presidents, instead of Kings and Queens. The class was very challenging, but she makes it fun in interesting. Also I enjoyed learning how to use "Schoology software" for this class. It was nice to see assignments posted in this application. It helped me to stay on task.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course was learning how congress and the senate worked. Also creating group project on cardboard city. This showed us how to design empires . We also did papers in groups, this was interesting and helped me to develop my team building skills. I also enjoyed learning about how different political parties were formed.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Do to my visual impairment I had to really stay up on the reading assignments. The few times I fell behind, I had a hard time catching up. Ask questions and be proactive with the teacher. If you feel you are not going to make the deadline for the assignment, tell her before it is due.
