Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ann is one of the best professors you'll ever have for art appreciation and art history. She's funny, informative and extremely passionate about the arts. Her class is set up in a way that you'd have to try to fail. There's only four assignments the entire semester, including your midterm and final.

    Course highlights:

Ann doesn't just give you the dates and era of paintings. She also gives you what she calls "gossip" and this is what keeps her class engaging and interesting as you'll learn not only why they painted certain things during certain periods, but why and how specific artists were thinking through their process.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make flash cards of images! This helps tremendously as her images on the tests are from a random list that she chooses from.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Each lecture from my professor was very detailed. My professor was super passionate about art history and art in a whole. The course wasn't just taught by someone who enjoyed art, but was taught by an artist who understands the topics.

    Course highlights:

As a student, I learned to recognize the little details art from centuries ago tried to stress and emphasize. It was amazing learning how art depicts feelings and cultures. My professor asked so many questions that got you to realize how things people overlook when trying to interpret an art piece.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not forget to study. Pay attention to the lectures.
