Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a very interesting class. The instructor was always very helpful.

I learned: respiratory/ digestive pathways, muscle names, skeletal names, amongst other things.

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

Flashcards were very useful! There are many things you will have to memorize, so know how you learn best.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I am fascinated by the human body! Taking Anatomy from Terry Pardee was incredible--as he is also the Physiology teacher, you get both sides in his lectures, but you're only tested on anatomy. The downside of this is that he is a rather cantankerous old man. Personality wise, I really didn't want to be around him; best thing to do, go to all his classes, go to all his lectures, spend extra time in the lab, and don't talk much to him. Get the knowledge he has to offer and get out.

    Course highlights:

Man, I really did learn a ton. Anything you had a question on, there was an answer.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

WORK WORK WORK. Don't you dare put it off, don't you dare go 'I'm hungry, I'll leave and do it next class.' Sit in the lab, hold the bones, study. All day, all night, study. Do you have a life? Take this class, and like magic, now you don't.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for anyone going into a health field.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of human anatomy which served as a foundation for my future courses in the health field.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to make flash cards for this course. A lot of anatomy is memorization, so flash cards worked best for me.
