    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Math is a great subject once you get the hang of it, and when you have a great teacher that encourages you and wants you to learn and succeed it makes it all that much better! It's a challenge that if anyone works hard to do will certainly succeed.

    Course highlights:

Everything from fractions to foiling to graphing, I learned so much and always grateful to have taken that class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do it! If you want to challenge yourself and prove yourself that you can and you will, you will accomplish. Just put in the hard work for the semester and you will certainly succeed.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Jon is very understanding and clear when he is teaching, he allows students time to ask questions before moving on to the next section. He offered his time and even set up a tutoring sessions everyday for those who needed the extra help or found themselves struggling with some homework problems.

    Course highlights:

Learning, and understanding the quadratic formula had to be the highlight of this course! Jon was understanding and took his time after class to make sure I completely understood it. I was having trouble understanding how to use factoring using the equation. Jon walked me through it patiently and allowed me to work out a couple examples before i understood it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course you have to go everyday no exceptions, especially math is one of your weaker subjects like myself! Don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't quite understand a certain formula or equation. Jon takes his time answering any questions and offers his time through tutoring sessions, everyone needs to take advantage of this.
