    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this teacher, but the course is horrible. Dr. Xu is willing to go above and beyond to help his students; however, the course is so difficult that even Dr. Xu's help isn't very helpful.

    Course highlights:

Unfortunately, Calculus 2 is one of the worst classes you can take. The highlight of this class is when you walk out of the final exam and know that whether you passed or failed the class, you at least get a short break from it for a little while. The final exam was far easier than the normal tests, which is great because that is where you pass the course. My grades were 53, 76, 71, 69. . .final exam 81. I ended up with a B in the class! Be patient with yourself because the material doesn't seem tough, but the way it is graded is very tough.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not fall behind. This course builds upon itself and if you miss a single class you will mess yourself up for weeks. Stay on top of every assignment and remember to practice a lot.
