Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the professor walks you step-by-step on how to effectively research data, create an argument, and correctly present it to a directed audience.

    Course highlights:

The course mapped out the importance of effective communication through the use of visual aids and rhetoric. I learned to use several different Adobe programs to present information.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the reading and homework assignments. Also, take advantage of office hours!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She understands when you ask questions and makes sure that we are all on the same page at the end of class. She treats us like we're people, not just seat fillers who are taking up her time.

    Course highlights:

The research paper allowed me to explore one of my interests which I really liked. The amount of creative freedom in this class made me enjoy going to class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Some teachers are harder than others, especially if you are an English major. Check with other students to get the best teachers or else you might be bogged down from just a gen ed class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is great at really getting to know the students like one would in a high school setting. When struggling, she goes out of her way to make sure you stay caught up in the course and truly understand what is going on.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were definitely the essays assigned. Although some may not like writing, Professor Epps allows her students to determine their own essay topics, which allows the assignments to be enjoyable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the assignments on time. In actuality they are not hard to complete if you follow the syllabus containing the schedule for the course. Take time to really make your writing mean something.
