    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I took the honors section, and despite going in thinking I would hate a gen-ed that forced me to learn about old composers, the class was actually really fun and a pretty easy grade.

    Course highlights:

We talked about musical components and composers from before the medeival times to the Jazz age, but things never got boring. The required concert attendances were great shows, and Dr. Lapin always has fun facts about everyone musically related to share.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You do have to read three books, but the first one is super interesting. The other two take a lot longer than the first.
