Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This class is a good overview of the field of microbiology and is useful for other science majors because it is not too in depth. The class moves at a good pace and there are interesting sections that she teaches such as the process of beer and wine making.
I learned basic things such as what cells need to live, what is studied under the field of microbiology, and it's applications in the world. In addition to that, I was able to learn about specific bacteria and viruses that are the cause for many well known disease outbreaks. I actually learned the culprits behind diseases that are commonly talked about.

Advice for students:
My advice is to understand that you will have to study. This class is not one of the more difficult ones, but does take effort. Dr. Rudolph is very kind and will give study tips for a specific chapter. I recommend going through her study guides she makes, using quizlet for simple memorization, and going over notes with other students.
