    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She's a charismatic teacher in an overly difficult class by all measures and manages to prepare you unequivocally for each task thrown at you.

    Course highlights:

I became functionally proficient in the MATLAB coding language over the course of 2.5 months which is a feat in of itself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid to ask for help, put in the time outside of class, and pay attention when she's talking

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course offered a great introduction to different fields of engineering and the industry as a whole. Class material was all very manageable, it ended up being a GPA booster for most people I took the class with. Several long term projects assigned which were easy to do well with time given.

    Course highlights:

Many parts of the course I had already seen making those portions dull, but the second half of the semester was all really interesting new material. We were taught how to use excel for many things such as graphing, plotting, dimensional analysis, and creating multiple page spread sheets of calculated data.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say go for the course. If you are ever struggling with course material always ask a friend or the teacher. My class also had teacher's assistants who were a ton of help. All the grading is composed of 3 or 4 large tests. The teacher's assistants hold optional review sessions days before to help struggling students.

This is a required course for all engineering majors. However, if you are like me you will find this course very challenging and rigorous.

    Course highlights:

The professor is funny and super understanding.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to ask questions and PRACTICE matlab.
