Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Eddie was an excellent professor. He made a dreaded subject (public speaking) a lot less menacing by engaging his students with interesting stories and approaching each day with a lighthearted attitude.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to effectively speak in front of crowds and methods to cope with anxiety before presenting. I learned why public speaking is a necessary skill and how to effectively deliver information.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take Eddie Smith if you can, he had us in tears laughing on multiple occasions. Learning should be fun and public speaking is scary, but he makes the class way more bearable. Also, approach each dreaded speech with the mentality that many of your classmates are as nervous as you are. No one wants to see you fail and after a few nervous talks, you'll be speaking with ease.
