Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is an easy course that you don't have to come to everyday.

    Course highlights:

Don't waste time going to class, just read the book and that will prepare you for the exam, not his lectures.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't even bother looking at the slides, the exams are really hard, but all the material is in the book.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course especially for science majors because you will most likely have to take it. Surver was a great teacher and was always willing to assist students who showed eagerness to learn.

    Course highlights:

The Genetics chapter was the most intriguing for me. I learned about homozygotes vs heterozygotes, recessive vs dominant alleles, and sex chromosomes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook! Use Mastering Biology if you have it, it's a great study tool.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Most majors need at least one science general education course. If one is necessary to you, I would take Biology over Chemistry because it is easier.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Espinoza is a great professor. She goes in depth and makes sure you feel really prepared with study guides and quizzes

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the study guides and reading even though it is optional. It really makes you feel like you are learning
