    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is taught by TAs that don't always know what they're talking about. Always go to the PAL sessions!!

    Course highlights:

You should understand derivatives and your knowledge of functions on your calculator will improve. I didn't know half the things my calculator could do before this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always go to the PAL sessions and try to get as much extra help that you can for the course. The final isn't that tough but understand broad subjects

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a required course for Engineering majors.

    Course highlights:

It is a high paced, but still thorough course with a moderate workload. You will learn all the basics of Newtonian calculus.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are well versed in algebra and take a pre-calculus before you take this course.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I had never taken Calculus before and took Pre-Calc my junior year so it had been a while, but Professor Davidson didn't skip any steps and I ended up with an A!

    Course highlights:

It was a lot of graphing and understanding graphs/recognizing different functions, etc. but being Business Calc, I also learned how to calculate APY, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the ASC early! Learn the material you don't understand before the classes moves on without you.
