    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Espinoza is a difficult professor and even after studying for WEEKS, I did not do as well as I wanted on her exams.

    Course highlights:

I learned that I hate Biology. Dr. E is actually really cool in office hours, though.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

READ THE BOOK. ANSWER HER QUESTIONS. STRIVE FOR EXTRA CREDIT.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this teacher if you don't need biology for your career because its easy to get a good grade. But if you need a good foundation in Biology I would not recommend this professor.

    Course highlights:

The highlights had to be learning about the body and food processing. Its what I want to study and learn more about in the future.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the powerpoints and read the book.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone! It was a course that used both memorization and open ended knowledge so that everyone in the class had a chance too succeed depending on their own strengths in learning!

    Course highlights:

Like any biology course we not only learned about reproduction and both animal and human cells, but we also we able to learn about trends in human population and animal habitats/ communities. This made the class much more diverse in topics than what was expected to be learned, and in the end more enjoyable!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attending class is a must. By going to class you will learn the basics from what the professor is saying which will make it much easier to go back into the textbook to relearn and/or learn more in depth about the topic. Drawing pictures about some of the material learned in this course was also a huge help when looking back throughout the notes! I had a better understanding for the information when I could think back about the picture that I placed the information in!
